How You Can Help!

Our community is one of the poorest in the Central Virginia area.  The ability to provide funding for medical care for pets is often impossible for pet owners and results in many owner surrendered pets.  And with a community as small as ours, it is difficult to place these animals in new homes with owners who can supply the medical care needed.  Therefore we see the unacceptable answer of euthanization often being used to address the problem.  We all have important values and ideas, things we care about and want to share. Sometimes we feel our ideas can even change the world, and we want to let other people know how they can join us and help make that change. SOAR is committed to preventing the euthanization of rescued animals solely because there was no money to provide medical care.  Gandhi said “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”  Save Our Animal Rescues is dedicated to providing critical medical care to our local rescue community and ensuring each injured animal is given the financial help it needs.  Please become a member and help us change our world.
